Well now… let me tell you how this whole thing got started.

Back in 1999, I put up a little two‑flap fireworks stand on the corner. Nothing big. Nothing fancy. Just a retirement hobby to keep me busy and give folks a place to get good fireworks at a fair price. One flap turned into two, two turned into four… and before long, that little hobby started turning into something real.

Shari was right there with me from the early days — helping customers, picking out products, and keeping the whole thing running smoother than I ever could’ve done alone. We treated people the way we’d want to be treated: good fireworks, honest prices, and a handshake you could trust. And with a little bit of luck, things kept growing.

Then in 2008, Sam came along. Hard‑working kid, sharp as a tack, and he fit right in from day one. Before long, the three of us were traveling to shows together, hand‑selecting the best fireworks we could find. We never brought home anything we wouldn’t shoot ourselves — that’s always been our rule.

We kept running that old stand for years… until 2017, when the termites finally decided they wanted it more than we did. The whole place was falling apart. So we did what Texans do — we rebuilt.

And when we rebuilt it, we gave it a new name: Benny’s Bad Azz Fireworks. That old six‑flap stand became something stronger, bigger, and better than ever — a name we were proud to put out front.

Then came Whitney.

In January of 2025, we started building a brand‑new fireworks store down in Whitney, Texas. And let me tell you… when that place went up, it was pretty. Clean lines, bright colors, the kind of place that just felt special. It was so nice, we decided it needed a name to match — so we called it Bad Azz Fireworks. Same heart. Same family. Same values. Just dressed up to match the beauty of the place.

But here’s the truth: none of this matters without the people who come see us every season. All we’ve ever cared about is making sure you get the best fireworks for your money — the good stuff — and that you walk away feeling like you were treated right.

Because fireworks aren’t just products. They’re memories. They’re family. They’re Texas.
